It was brought to my attention by a friend that Quinn, who so generously supplied our Jurgen pix, took exception to this page. To correct a misapprehension, all the Michael photos that previously were here were garnered from sources on the web other than Quinn's pages, because I knew she was a devout Michael fan. However, I also recently learned that she and the leader of the Royettes, Jo, have been taking flak for these pages. (Why people should have targeted them is a complete mystery to me, since they had nothing to do with Michael Speaks.)
Having received my share of flames from the more, er, ardent Michael fans, and having seen a good friend of mine crucified on the WB boards by other LFN fans, I do not wish others to have to endure the same nonsense. That's why I've decided to take these pages down. I'm also taking them down out of deference to Quinn, despite the fact that I did not cull the Roy pictures from her site.
Not too long ago, I decided to stop watching La Femme Nikita, because of the strong emotions it seems to arouse in many fans. It does not seem to be a healthy indulgence. Moreover, life is too full of wonderful things to have to spend all one's time and energy dealing with flames and even threats from people you've never even seen before.
Rest assured that the Jurgen pages will live on. Jurgen was the one bright spot of hope in the otherwise bleak and desperate world of Section One. I hope that everyone who visits these pages will remember to take a deep breath every sunrise and every sunset, thank their Higher Power of choice for all the beauty in the world, and remind themselves that La Femme Nikita is just a TV show.
