"Expect a most agreeable letter, for not being overburdened with subject (having nothing at all to say), I shall have no check to my genius from beginning to end." -- Jane Austen, letter of 21 January 1801 ![]() Kim created the JURGEN IS A GOD WEBSITE back in 1998, when the Jurgen story arc first aired on TV. It was in cyber space until 2000 and with good fortune, I've been able to locate this site. As an ode to Kim and to JURGEN IS A GOD, I've made this site available to everyone. JURGEN IS A GOD is indeed an icon and of historic value! I've missed this site immensely and I know many others who would agree with me. I thank you Kim for your pioneering work with Jurgen and Bruce's work. I've certainly learned a lot from you and I hope you are keeping well! - AGWLBP
This site is dedicated to the best character created in the hit television show La Femme Nikita: Jurgen, Spec Ops. Although ostensibly dead in the last act of the episode "Approaching Zero," we, his fans, know that he still lives and is working diligently to make his way back to Nikita, his soul mate! There is a definite dearth of Bruce Payne/Jurgen material on the 'net, and so I have created these pages to give Jurgen's fans a place to call home, to bask in his sunny smile, to sigh over those pretty blue eyes behind his way-cool glasses, to drool over his biceps. You'll find here photos from the Jurgen Arc (Spec Ops, Third Person, and Approaching Zero), courtesy of Quinn, a generous operative, definitely one of the 5%. Her truly astonishing gallery of photos of La Femme Nikita and its actors, are no longer online In addition, you'll also find here info on how to join the mailing list
just for discussion of all things Bruce, the brucepaynelist at onelist.com,
as well as some Jurgen fanfic that I've been working on. If you have some
Jurgen fanfic you'd like to submit, please drop me a line.
In the current vote, out of 12 sites, Jurgen Is A God is #3. http://home.talkcity.com/StudioDr/drina55/winaward.html
A Jurgen Christmas Story - Happy Holidays! It was written during the festive season.... Jurgen Poll - read how other's rate the J-man! Poesie de Jurgen - Uncensored, lunatic ramblings from the minds of the BP-listers. If you're a Royette . . . trust me. You don't want to read these. Jane Speaks Her Mind - read what Jane Austen has to say about LFN. Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth - in an idea shamelessly stolen from Cartoon Network, here's my take on what would happen if our favorite (or not) operatives were lassoed by Wonder Woman. Michael Speaks! - I realized as I was sprucing up my pages last night that I had very little here to offer Michael's Operatives and the Royettes. Suddenly, inspiration struck. Amusez vous! LFN Theme Songs - with a decided Jurgenite/cynic slant.
Dear Michael, This is going to be more difficult for me than it is for you. But hasn't it always been that way? I've finally come to the realization that I'm doing all the giving in this relationship, and getting nothing in return. Those few brief moments we've had together were pretty good, considering I hadn't had sex in three years. But then someone special came into my life. That's right -- Jurgen. He's all the man you are, Michael, and then some. He cares for me, and shows it. He tells me I look beautiful; he tells me I'm smart and funny. He tells me he loves me, and not just when he's trying to use me for his own purposes. Oh, and he's better in bed than you are. I'll always treasure the memory of that night on the boat, for without it, I'd never know how good Jurgen really is. And I'll always treasure our time together, for without it, I'd never appreciate what a good man I've found in Jurgen. I hope you'll find other naive and trusting operatives to play your little games with, now that I'm gone. That's right, gone. I've run away with Jurgen. Oh, and in case you thought of coming after me -- I have the video of your little "sessions" with Madeline in the White Room. Wouldn't want that getting back to Ops or Oversight now, would we? Best of luck in the future, Michael. And remember: It's not me, it's you. Your former friend, Nikita
I know. This page was created by JurgenBorg1187. You will be assimilated.
JURGEN LIVES!
In the Jan 10-16th issue of TV Guide there is a small picture of Nikita on the front cover and a write up inside on the series that reads: La Femme Nikita Sundays, 10 P.M./USA the big news: After escaping for six months, Nikita (Peta Wilson) is back in the anti-terrorist group Section One, this time with a secret. Undersuspicion, she's assigned to a new mysterious supervisor Jurgen (Bruce Payne). "Unlike Michael (Roy Dupuis), " says executive consultant Joel Surnow, "he has real power and independence, and Nikita is very attracted to that -- and to him." love connections: The sexual tension between Michael and Nikita reaches the boiling point. The usually aloof section chiefs Madeline (Alberta Watson) and Operations (Eugene Robert Glazer) get suspiciously close. twists & turns: Does a looming retirement for Walter (Don Francks) mean a rest home or a permanent resting place? Operations is seriously wounded and replaced by a leader who is not what he seems. Nikita is finally chosen to lead her own mission. Copied from TV Guide Jan 10-16, 1998 Issue. Sounds like it is going to be a good season!!:)
